Krista Stovel is a designer based in Portland, Oregon.

I am a skilled and passionate creative with a diverse range of abilities that would make me a valuable asset to any innovative, design-driven company. Over a decade ago, I co-founded Make It Good and Nell & Mary, which were later rebranded to North of West in 2017. As Creative Director from 2012-2022, I oversaw the visual aesthetic of our women's apparel, children's apparel, and home divisions. As the brand grew, I expanded my role and skillset, becoming well-known for my expertise in print design, use of color, and materials. Additionally, I played a vital role in creating our award-winning retail storefront in downtown Portland and acted as the shop's buyer.

I have a BFA in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego and a BA in Art History from the University of Washington.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, swimming in cold rivers on warm days, inventing new recipes, and hiking and biking with my family.
